the DL Nkemdiche would be headed to bama (or some other powerhouse) for sure if his brother wasn't a factor. The father wants whatever the DL Nkemdiche wants so it doesn't matter to him. The bears however feel that the mother is the wildcard here because she wants the brothers to be together. As a side note, the mother is in Nigeria at this time - I don't know if it is for vacation, business, lives there permanently or temporarily or what the reason is. As you have seen with yancy's interview, the bears just want the family to have the easiest, most convenient situation so that their lives aren't turned upside down by having sons at different schools. If they somehow pull this off and get Connor after offering his brother, that will be 3 five star players in two years by leveraging a family member. Amazing that they still suck.

1) Almost any sane person believes that Bama is where he'll end up. They are his #1 and he has said as much. They are current Nat Champs, we are a **** sandwich. It makes sense. If a bear fan tries to run some "Robert Nkemdiche is an OM lock" smack, you let me know so I can beat that 17er back to reality.

2) The father mentions several times that he would PREFER they play together, but he also says 46 billion times that he's flexible. Which to me means that he's not pressuring either of them to do anything. It's completely up to the kid. Which means Bama is still leading.

3) The wife is a politician in Nigeria and will be there for the next 4 years, visiting as often as she can. Once every 3 or 4 months says dad. She also would prefer they play together, but has told them both that she wants them to play where they are happy first and foremost. Still Bama.

4) Just because Yancy asked leading, family convenience questions, that has zero bearing on what the rest of bearz nation really wants. I'm certain that 100% of us want him to play here and don't care how he arrives at that decision. I want him to WANT to play here. If family convenience plays a role, great. If not, Yancy is a moron for asking dumb questions. Holy ****, news flash. So don't put words that come out of his mouth into ours, please.

5) Don't be an idiot. We don't recruit family members who cannot contribute. All signs point to Denzel Nkemdiche getting a serous shot at playing time this year in our secondary. Remove Robert from the equation and Denzel is still worthy of a scholly AND playing time. Period. Second, the Connor situation is not uncommon across FBS football. Siblings who are close in age, sometimes want to play together in college, just as they did in highschool. It's not new and it's certainly not a bear strategy. Nice try. If you're suggesting that we ignore the brother connection completely, separating them during visits and trying to keep Robert's recruitment 100% separate from Denzel, your and idiot.

6) Robert does live with your new QB commit. If you think Mullen won't use that to his advantage when and if he talks with Robert, your and idiot some more. And if Mullen DOESN'T use that to his advantage, then he is and idiot.

7) It's amazing we still suck after getting Robert Nkemdiche and the Connors? Wouldn't that be a future prediction? And who says we'll suck with two Nkemdiches and Connors playing for us over the next 3 to 4 years? We might actually be good with all this brotherly talent. So bite your tongue, for now.

8) Eat my ***.

She is an elected representative in the Nigerian legislature, or parliament or whatever they call it there.

Any halfway decent middle school corner would have a serious shot at playing time in mississippi's secondary.

Here's the stats for SEC games last season:. Look who's 8th and whose dead last. You did give up 83 fewer yards, but that was on 63 fewer attempts. You can thank coaches like Les Miles for only throwing the ball 7 times after the 1st quarter and not running the score up on you for that.

So yeah, our pass defense was ranked higher than yours. Fact. At the very least, you had to pull up other statistics to try to disprove it, which means your "not even close to being true" statement is incorrect.

If you want to argue that nobody threw the ball on us because they didn't have to, you might have point. You also had a grand total of two more interceptions than Ole Miss last year. So if you want to argue that your pass defense was better than our despite the ranking, that's fine, but my purpose was to disagree with the poster who tried to say our pass defense was atrocious last year, when that wasn't the case.

But that stat has absolutely nothing to do with how good a pass defense is. It's mostly about who gets thrown on the least. Plenty of terrible teams are good in that stat. If you were given a choice of seeing our pass defense by your Bears this fall or a repeat of yours last year, you'd be an idiot to pick yours. And I think you're not too stupid to realize that and are just trolling us.

Exactly what are you arguing? That we offered Denzel because anyone can play in our secondary? Ok, that's the point he was trying to make, that we offered Denzel to contribute, not just because of his brother. UGA went after him hard too and if any of y'all watched his film you'd see he is worthy of a SEC scholly.

Y'all are 8th in one and DFL in the other. And not even a close DFL at that, the #11 team is closer to the #8 team than it is to your pass defense.

when he said that your pass defense was better than ours last year. I have no idea why y'all signed Dikembe and I really don't care. I have no idea if he can play or not. Hell, I didn't even know he existed until last week. But I do know your pass defense wasn't better than ours last fall. I'm pretty sure most Bear fans would agree with that.

P.S. The Rebs sold their souls to get Ward and his brother WILL be a walkon who getsa scholly. It's part of the package. His brother is NOT SEC talent, end of discussion.

Fine then. Maybe I should have said, who gives a **** if we recruit package deals. It happens all the time, every where. It happens with players who are not related. It happens with players who are cousins. It happens when high school coaches "suggest" that if a college wants 5* player A, they had best find room for 2 or 3* player B. I refuse to believe you are that naive.

You want me to admit that OM does package deals, fine. We do. Just like every other FBS school on the planet. Are you trying to tell me that MSU as never done a package deal? For clarification, the Nkemdiches are NOT a package deal. We wanted Denzel for secondary play, regardless of Robert. Yes, we ARE going to use the brother angle to our benefit because only a colossal moron would NOT use it for a shot at signing the #1 prospect in an area of need for us.

This is all moot anyway. Robert is going to Bama anyway. I want him at OM. I hope like hell he'll play here. But it won't happen.

Even if they did, how is that selling their soul?So what? If the player is good enough, it may be worth it. If not theymaybe waste 2 scholarships instead of 1. OxpatchReb is right on this one. Anddon't be so quick to say we've never done it in the past, becausewe probably have.

Think that tells the story. There is more to playing in the secondary than pass defense, you have to tackle too and while
Ole miss secondary was improved, MSU was still all around significantly better. I will say that I thought the ole miss
Secondary would get slaughtered last year but they played better than I anticipated.
