This is why you have to play series in baseball. Tonight we just didn't execute, and hit ball hard at them all night. No one wants to hear this, but "thats baseball". There is absolutely no reason that we can't win the next 2 games. Our team just needs to relax and show up tomorrow ready to execute. This is the way baseball works, and there is no reason to freak out, but I'm sure 99% of this board will.

Very true, but it happens. Bunting in front of 25,000 people isn't as easy as people think. Shoulda bunted him with two strikes. Would've improved the percentages. We'll win tomorrow.
Yes, that was terrible. Yet, if the passed ball doesn't bounce off the ump's leg, State still scores a run to make it 3-2. We get to within a run at that point, it could have been huge. Just not our night, but tomorrow may be better.
