Why in the 17 did Freeze not let Wallace take a shot? I realize the chances of winning are slim at that point, but why not let the guy who has been battling all night give it a shot. Mind boggling.

I agree. And the TV announcers agree...

...I realize it would take a miracle to go 80 yds. in 15 seconds, but you don't call on your 2nd string QB to try to pull it out in that situation. All I can figure is Wallace was hurt, or Freeze figured Wallace would throw another INT.

All I can figure is Freeze is not the coach talking heads make him out to be (Brando) and his decisions so far show that.

Several reasons, including Wallace's shoulder issues and Brunetti's escapability. And Brunetti has a stronger arm. It didn't matter either way.

Didn't want to take the chance of injury before the Egg Bowl.

I think it was because of his legs. Better runner and that gave them another tool.

Best thing possible for MSU.

What's more demoralizing for a QB than to get benched, down 6, needing one perfect throw to win the game. Also, the guy who took his place promptly stepped out of bounds while throwing an interception.

Really? Brunetti is good enough to beat LSU but not MSU so save Bo Wallace? I just can't buy that...
