not saying this cost the Falcons the game. But did anyone notice the no call on the facemask. Should of been offsetting penalties and replay of third down.

If it's the play that I'm thinking of it appeared to me that both guys were facemasking each other...in fact the Pats player had his helmet ripped off on the play.
I believe their was 4 minutes left in the game Ryan took a sack they were still in field goal range. I thought the facemask happen when the Falcons got called for holding and moved them out of field goal range. Then the Falcons punted it back to the patriots

Your 100% correct. That's the play it occurred on.

Nearly positive it would have been offsetting penalties and replay the down. The quantity of fouls isn't important with live-ball fouls if I remember correctly.

Should have been 2 flags on the Dirty Birds & 1 on NE. Go back and watch the clip. Sanu does get face-masked by the Pats DB but Sanu also rips off the NE DBs helmet and that should have been a facemask called against him. Those penalties would have been offsetting and the holding would have been enforced. With a no-call on both facemasks, the result is the same.

And if you want to be a stickler for the rules, watch that play again. 3 penalties should have been called on the Dirty Birds on that play. The hold by Mathews, the facemask by Sanu, & illegal hands to the face by Ben Garland the guard (see clip below). And I didn't want the Pats to win but I don't sign up for this new selective "seeing" that the world has seemed to turn to. People only want to see things the way it works out for them. Believe it or not but ATL pissed the bed when it mattered and the Pats manned up. They weren't cheated like so many people want to believe because heaven forbid things don't work out like you'd hoped.

And my rant isn't toward you PeliniTheCrutch. I don't really know your MO. I've just been hearing this all day and people unwilling to except the truth.

What i'm saying is that it doesn't matter how many fouls are on one team. As long as there is one on the other team, all fouls are offset.

If you have 2 fouls on team A, and 1 on team B. 1 foul on each team cancel each other out leaving the remaining foul to be in forced

If you want to be a stickler for the rules, brady shoulda been called for a false start on the second two point play. His false start caused the defense to jump.

You mean a haed count in which EVERY TEAM does it? Too many excuse for the Falcons. They blew it. Play 4 quarters of football.

No. Not a head count. Watch the play.
Dont confuse this. The falcons blew it and brady is the man. I had no dog. But someone said stickler for the rules.

You are correct. Definitely a missed call for sure.
