No comments on B-ball student section(s)?

Students pay this thing called "tuition" which, in addition to school should more than cover the cost for them to get decent seats for a basketball game. Its about making more money. Period. Treat the students like crap and treat the old fogeys well so they can get good seats and sit on their hands the entire game

and congrats..you get this thing called an EDUCATION for paying said tuition... comparing what alumni pay to the BC to what you pay for tuition is a STUPID argument.
You,ME, and every other student that shows up gets a FREE ticket with NO RESTRICTIONS to every basketball game we decide to goto.
Stop bitching and be thankful how good we have it.

The vast majority of faculty tickets holders are very friendly to the athletic dept and I think you want to keep it that way.

i don't think the ones who are "friendly" now would stop being friendly if they lost their ticket discounts, allotment, etc. but it could reduce the number of those that are friendly over time.

Over the last 21-22 years that i have been involved, our students haven't supported the team on a consistent basis. when tickets were issued, they didn't pick up all alloted to them except for the "big" games i.e. Kentucky and maybe Ole Miss. with the change in seats, the diehards will get there early and get the "best" seats...i don't have a problem with it.

Btw, the present student council voted on this. They could have turned it down...
