An absolutely disgusting scene. Actually President and Athletic Director should have issued a public apology.
Or about the character of the fans who said vile things to his children. It sent shock waves to coaches across the nation. Even Matt Rhule brought it up in his news conference.
Wake up will be if he doesn't get another job and PSU has to pay him 50m.
How can you be sure that Franklin's work ethic and dedication didn't hide the flaws in Penn State's infrastructure?
I have a very strong suspicion we are going to have a lot of unhappy posters in the next few years when they realize we are not just a coach away from a national championship.
Who cares about posters? It's the donors. Kraft has a stadium to pay for.
Is there evidence of this accusation, i know of some students harassing Franklin, but not his family ?
Don’t bother - this guy thinks all coaches walk on water and you have no right to criticize them and any rumor about bad behavior towards them is always 100% true - Franklin was a coach whose shelf life at PSU expired - he will get anther job but will never win a National Championship.
Pretty sure that article is bs. Google James Franklin and Kirby Foundation/donations and nothing pops but articles from shady websites. Nothing from CDT, Penn State or any other legit site.
Actually, It was so bad Matt Rhule took time to denounce it in his news conference that week. Specifically about abusive behavior/comments made to a coaches children. If you wish to dismiss this as my prejudice, it is in keeping with the "bury your head in the sand" attitude and "We Are" above all other fan bases.

"meaningless wins" never ever beating anyone with "a pulse." No one will hire him, and if they do, he will quickly crumble. PSU will go at least 12-0 next year and win "big" games along the way. The new coach can't help but win as "a high school coach can win 10 games here."
NIL money will be no issue for the new regime as CJF is out of the way and money will flow like never before. Even if it doesn't ,the new coach will be able to recruit 5 stars and whiz kids from the portal. Current roster players will stay for less....because they love Penn State.
Any coaching hire will inspire the sale of luxury box seats and prove Pat Kraft to be the Athletic Director that brought a National Championship to PSU.

I don't know- just wondered if the original accusation was true and did a very quick search and it popped up. Either way. it seemed unlikely that CJF did nothing to help the community, and it still seems unlikely.
I’m really gonna miss Franklin going for 2 in the 2nd quarter when a point after would have made the score 14-10.
I’m really going to miss going 10-2 frequently.
