"You being an ex coach should know how tough it is to win the "west" which is very important to the players. I bet you never said winning your conference in baseball wasn't important"

We are the only team that has a winning SEC record the last 10 years- its obviously not that hard. And my last two years I coached, we won every conference game by 10 runs or more except one- winning our conference wasnt even mentioned as a team goal. We had really good players and played in a ****** conference- i'm not claiming to be Joe Torre...

"Stans teams have had a tough draw such as good teams like Duke who we played to the wire, X same thing, Butler who had a very talented team that year and beat us on a last shot and Tx who we had to play in Texas. All of those teams were good and I don't find shame in losing to any of those."

There is always going to be a tough draw in the 2nd round. At some point, we have to win a tough game. Nobody is going to give us anything.

"lucky for you is you don't have to put your work on display for folks like you to sound like the game is easy to coach"

actually, I did that the last two years. Louisiana has a statewide message board for its High Schools- Kenramsey.com. I had my share of threads discussing me and my migration from Mississippi to Louisiana and how we stayed in ranked in the top 3 both years

"it takes chemistry, talent and something that is real important is LUCK. Just saying."

i totally agree...but aGAIN, at some point you have to make your own luck. We just cant keep getting to the Dance and claim bad luck

It's a matter of time before Stans makes some noise in the Ncaa. Yeah you can make your luck some times, but again the teams that beat us were really good teams. I agree he needs to make some progress in the tourney, but I can see this group of players do just that in the next few years. But to say it isn't important winning the west is just flat *** wrong. Stans works as hard as any coach we have had, he can be called alot of things 34 but one thing he is is a winner. His day will come, he deserves as we Msu basketball fans do. Just trying to help you out as you seemed to get piled on a whole lot and that ain't a good thing. Stans has nothing to be ashamed of what he has done for Msu.</p>
