Why would anybody want to support the new coach, especially when all the football savvy experts here clearly know who should be hired, and ultimately know far more than the people tasked to hire the FB head coach. Let's just line up behind Politi and the rest of the SL negative A-holes and denigrate the new guy in order to make his job and recruiting NJ as hard as we can possibly make it. Maybe Laviano has It right and a bunch of people should find a team they can wholeheartedly support.

As long as Rettig gets a chance to start, I am ok especially if Laviano is not playing well.

But it's some much more fun to say I would have hired this other guy instead and I know he would have been so much better. No way you can prove me wrong and I get to ***** and moan whenever we don't win 59-0. LOL

Only at Rutgers do we even contemplate hiring a coach that half the fanbase won't support from day one.

I agree that he needs 3 years to prove himself considering the bare shelf left. We'll have the Big Ten money ready for the next one.
