tough loss. Puts us in a rough spot for future. We should land the Rawlings kid from MRA this week, that'll help some, but we're still in a spot where we want to sign a couple more OL and don't have many options. I think we're headed to TX to try to fill that last OL spot.

I'd rather see us do that than take a chance on a questionable JUCO OT in MS.

Which one? Damn our recruiting is garbage. Oh well, I'm sure we are on someone who is 5 foot nothing and weighs 190.

there is a good one here at Tyler Junior College that wanted an offer at one point. 6'4" 330 OG.

Yet, Hevesy seems to be such a stellar judge of talent on his own** we are in such a good spot now**

I guess now is the time to bring this up....

was told by a friend that has a subscription to every MSU site know to mankind, that a certain website owner, has stated privately he expects a few coaches to get the axe at the end of the year. Specifically for recruiting. Surely Heavesy, by far the worse recruiter on the staff, will be gone?

I sure hope UAB, South Alabama, and La Tech don't have any dirt on us. They're bound to be pissed at us for taking so many of their guys that they will turn us in as soon as they can.

I agree coach and I think that this guy was probably encouraged to look elsewhere. I think Mullen has a couple guys about to come on. We're not outta the running for Avery Gennesey (sp?) I know A&M leads for him right now, but I don't think we're out of it. Rosebowl says we have Dontavian Blair (4* by Scout) if we want him-he's a JUCO OT. Rawlings will be ours, but I'm afraid if Ole Miss offers he's gone. We have 3 good OL from last years class with Clayboirne supposedly being a stud, and the class before had a lot of OL in it. I think we'll be okay here.

Some people are acting like losing one offensive linemen is going to be the end of our program as we know it.

Well, if we can keep getting all of these under-the-radar guys from MPSA schools without OM or any other SEC school noticing, I think we'll be alright -- just as long as Dan can keep being interviewed by the press.
