You know, MSU Football is alot like the game of Golf. You make a commitment in buying expensive equipment. Then you make a trip out to the course, and it could be fairly costly. You are willing to give 8 hours hoping you have a good time. Then you tee it up and get pissed off shot after shot because you are really not good enough to play. But then every once in a while you hit a good shot or have a good round and it tricks your brain that there is a glimmer of hope. So you buy more equipment and go to the golf course again the next weekend.

Yes, the round itself take about 4 to 5 hours depending on where you go, but some drives are an hour plus then warmup and rehash afterwards.
well i can say that i played in a four-some at Farmlinks as part of a team building outing for work.......it took us every bit of 7.5 hours to play 18....the reason for this time: the other cart: one guy shot a 171 and the other guy shot a 165........they dont play much golf......my cart: i shot 89 the other dude shot 85....it was a horrible day
Rumor on the NAFOOM board last week was that with the new ESPN contract that kicks in next season, SEC games will be scheduled as follows:
11:30 - 1 game for syndication
2:30 - 1 game for CBS
6:00 and later - all other games on a variety of ESPN family networks
