and exposes these frauds who come on here claiming Mullen pissed off his girlfriend, etc. and how they know it happened. He's coming to MSU and it sounds like Russell will be throwing to him eventually.
TR is already back recruiting for us. he called bumphis tonight to let him know and bumphis thought it was great news. TR also said he would be on the phone calling other recruits to talk with them. sounds like he is definetly 100%!
not trying to act like i'm giving you a damn thing. Mutt the Hoople posted he hoped TR was ging to be recruiting for us so obviously he hasn't read the article so i was posting it for him jackass.
No doubt that Robertson get's on the ball with the info and doesn't sugarcoat things as much as some out there do. It's just the posters over there that make it so unbearable.
With Russell taking an official to us on the 23rd, he also may be doing a little recruiting himself. Thats the same weekend that Montrell Conner is coming, and I'm hoping that Russell is coming that weekend to solidify Conner's commit to us. You talk about a great tandem for some years at State. That is a very dangerous one and could be one of the best QB RB combos in the SEC.

After the Frank Wilson hire, he said that it was a sign from God that MSU was the place for him. Conner is solid. If Wilson bolts, that wouldn't help the situation, but Conner has a kid and I've heard he doesn't want to go too far from Monroe.
Well have you heard anything about him wanting to go to Southern? Seems as though if he wanted to stay close to home, and with LSU already having alot of running backs in their class that Southern or Old Piss would be the next logical option if he wanted to stay close to home. Ive heard that Southern is in 2nd for him if he opens himself back up again.
who haven't sniffed a college campus a potential "top QB/RB tandem in the sec," and then threw in an "Old Piss" for good measure... all in the same thread. Beautiful.
Well what else would you call them. Obviously if we didnt think that those 2 had the potential to become one of the better SEC QB RB tandems then do you think that we would get them? Two 4 star recruits that have proven themselves in high school doesnt automatically make them the best ever, but it does allow for us to label them as the future backbone of our offense. And if they continue to get better like they should, I think they could be a great SEC tandem. We go after 4 stars like this to build the type of tandems like Jason Campbell and Cadillac/Ronnie Brown, and Jamarcus Russell and Joseph Addai. Im not saying they are gonna be that, but they have the potential to elevate themselves to a very solid tandem for us for years.
Just so you know, over the last 10 years you can count on one hand the number of recruits who have signed with USM over MSU who had a legitmate MSU offer.
I know, but sometimes kids like that smaller school, or just the fact that its closer to home. Southern did pull Deandre Brown last year and some other good 3 star recruits. They won their bowl game and always compete in C USA, which has been more than weve done the past few years, even though we play in a much more high profile and challenging conference. You just never know with high school kids sometimes...
