I did not know that.

We COULD just take the penalty. What is it, a 15 yard penalty on the opening kickoff?

At least that's what it was when both USC and UCLA wore dark jerseys the last couple of years. However, I don't think it would be worth the confusion of having both us and Memphis wearing white jerseys.

If an SEC home team wants to wear white,

OOC Games: Follow NCAA rules; visiting team must agree.
SEC Games: Follow SEC rules; home team can wear what they want.

I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing if I were Memphis. I don't think it's a dick thing to do at all. We already have home-field advantage, there's no reason they should make it even tougher on themselves by agreeing to wear dark jerseys in the heat.

and take the penalty.

That's just me.

I don't blame Memphis for not agreeing, but screw them. I say we wear white.

White vs white could be confusing for the QB.

I saw wear our maroon. Then hang 50 on them.
