I have to look at this with a positive mindset before I lose my mind lol. Yes, it sucks he got hurt, but I would rather it happen when it did and not at the start of March Madness. It's given other guys the opportunity to see more minutes, get their confidence, as well as the confidence of the staff, way up so they can hopefully be trusted to give the starters more of a break regardless of the situation. I feel the role players have at least earned that during this time.
As far as the regular season championship, I stopped thinking about that crap a long time ago when they went with the unbalanced schedule. The ACC champion will come from the tournament in my mind. Zion will play again for Duke, and he will not only be the most dominant player in the game again, but the most rested player. I think Duke is handling this looking at the long term goal which is cutting down the net. No need to come back against Wake, or the Cheats.
Duke is not going to win the Regular season championship, which a lot of us here didn't care about for a long time, because we were never in the running this late in the season. So what if we lose to the cheats again, anybody with a brain really knows why if that happens Sat. I don't count them out in that game either without Zion. The mental aspect of losing him as they did won't be there again. I'm going to sit back and watch, and I have a good feeling, we will have the last laugh when it's all said and done. Just my 2 cents.
