You should check out this American single malt from Sante Fe spirits in New Mexico. Colkegan.
A little light and crisp which makes me think it's young. Smoked with Mesquite. If you want to try a smokey whiskey without the medicinal NyQuil taste of peat, give the Colkegan a stab.
