Noise after Michigan Game

I'm not talking about noise as in a "sound," I'm referring to noise as in what will the "talk" be!

I think that this Michigan game is a marquee game for the football program. I think that a win on Saturday will secure our current recruits, I think it will secure our current fan base, and I think it provides some hope for all! I also think that it will be nice for the media. You have a non-ranked Penn State team (which in my opinion should definitely be in the top 25 as compared to others - but that is another story)... but a non-ranked Penn State team could potentially knock off a top 10 team. Is this PSU team a little better than we think? Is this a team that is a few plays away from a one loss season? Is a healthy Sean Clifford better than what we have seen? I think this could be one of the most needed wins of a season than any game I can think of over the past few years.

On the flip side, what will the noise be if PSU takes a loss. I think the fan base loses interest, I think we end up in snowy New York City playing a bowl game on a baseball field in January, I think recruits could potentially start pulling away, and I could see current players going in the tank and calling it a season.

I hope that CJF and his staff are prepared not only for the game (wishful thinking), but also prepared for any type of quality control that they need to put into effect if we are not able to pull of a victory.

I'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts on potential noise with a Win or Loss!

Imho I think recruits go to a team they think they have the best opportunity to play rather than a team loaded with talent at the position they play.

Kids today want to play right away and show case their talents, especially those with NFL aspirations.

If this is considered a 'big' game, then Franklin will fold up like a cheap suit and go for 2 while the game is tied (aka 'trying a Griese').
