I realize this was discussed some yesterday but I could hardly hear anything out of the sound system. I realize that not having an endzone plays some part as to why sound isn't catching but it seems like we have a whole big sound system that were not even turning up. If any of ya'll watched the student section in the south carolina/om game they were going ape ****(yes because they were winning) but also because they were thumping that bass and getting everyone on an adrenaline high. Its little things like this that make such a huge difference in the game's atmosphere. I'm a student and the student section was getting rowdy but I think it would be a lot better if we could hear the damn music.

It is loud and clear in the upper deck. You literally have to yell at the person next to you for them to hear you

If I had to guess its because the speakers are positioned so high on top of our enormous big screen so the sound goes out directly to the people sitting in the upper deck. I sit in the middle of the student section and it seemed so muffled I wish someone else who sat there could back me up on this

I guess most of this might be because of our lack of endzone but I think in the offseason they should lower the speakers a little closer to the field.

....we decided that the speakers are turned up plenty loud, it's just that all of us have cowbells.

but it'd be pretty dang hard to hear an F-16 flying over the stadium with thousands of cowbells within feet from you, especially during a game like Saturday. It was loud. Ears were still ringing this morning.
