Non-Americans have no rights here. The law doesn't apply to us when we target them.

I don't agree with that, even if it's a legitimate legal argument.....it's not legitimate American logic.

Correct, but non-Americans don't have American rights. They need to establish them in their own countries.
And I agree that to a certain extent, processes for American legal justice do not apply in wartime (and terrorism has changed that definition substantially), but I think America should be an example of human rights globally.....and to some degree, even if wartime, conduct overselves in accordance with aspects of American values.

If they mean us no harm and are coming here first to respect and uphold our values, then there shouldn't be a problem boom and I have no issue with them being treated equally and fairly.

However if they are coming over here to disrespect our values, or cause trouble, or destroy or disrupt our ways of Life, then we don't have to even let them step off the plane onto our tarmac.

I agree, we should conduct war in that we do not target civilains. Other than that, there are no rights from our constitution that extends to people in other countries. That's whats wrong with some justices, the constitution shouldn't be interpreted by what makes you "feel" good.

Can't throw out the baby with the bathwater, and then act like we lead the world.

American logic by your standards that don't extend past your nose, just to be clear.
The logic that inspired our Declaration of Independence and formed our Constitution is the logic to which I was referring. My own personal logic, would only allow the US Army to combat terrorists with big hugs and warm cookies.....so yeah, I leave the tough **** up to the "big dicks" that live for the gore.

Read the Constitution Boom, it will help you. Can you name a country where non-citizens have all the rights of citizens? To terrorists captured in the field have the same rights as American citizens? No, they are enemy combatants. Constitutional rights do not always apply to them. Immigration is another matter. Congress has near total authority as opposed to the Courts and are largely immune from SCOTUS. Many, many differences as there should be.
