Wasn't going to post this question here, but going against my better judgement decided to anyway considering the large outlet of people that may can help me. I was wondering if anybody on here has any advice on hunting for arrowheads in and around central MS. I have become absolutely obsessed with hunting for these but have nowhere to go looking forthem. Until just recently, I went to a place in Meadville on the Houma Chitto river but am not able to go to that place anymore due to a change in owners...So if anybody on here has any tips, ideas, places that I could possibly look it would be much appreciated.

Sports realated because I am actually "hunt"

For the smartasses, I'm a big boy, I fully expect to get blasted somewhat....But for any real info, thanks.

My parents have about 200 acres in Madison county close to the treaty of doaks stand. Doaks creek runs along the boarder of the land. My mother has found arrow heads in her garden. PM me and maybe I can hook you up. They are about 13 miles from Canton close to camden. My parents are older but pretty cool with that kind of stuff.

I can tell you how to find an old indian camping site in Noxubee county along the Tenn-Tom. I doubt more than a handful of people know where it is. PM if you want more info.

I would suspect the largest concentration to be directly under Scott Field.

Wait for the fields to be plowed in the spring and 1 big rain to expose the arrowheads. Most landowners/farmers dont mind as long as you only walk around (not ride). Hell half the people I used to encounter collecting didnt even have permission, although I wouldnt suggest this.
