Was. Apparently not any more.

Sounds as though both Taylor and Ryan have made late pushes. Iowa board has all but conceded.

Interesting. Not that they are the bastion of insightful reporting (lol). but the word on the street (or on the Internet) a few months ago was that Iowa was the clear leader for the two.

Pretty certain Illinois is in the mix.
Illinois’ Greco program had them in the mix. Perhaps I’m reading the wrong tea leaves but don’t really sense that they still are.

Of course, we’ll find out Thursday morning.

Also, the Raneys have trained at Illinois at least partly because it's the closest RTC to their home in western KY.

Pretty much everyone would be shocked if Illinois were the choice.

that's an excellent pick up for DT & Okla. St. They are becoming a force in recruiting:

Yes, suffice it to say, barring some changes, it’s hard to fathom how they won’t end up with the top Class of 2026.

Okie State thought they’d had him locked down, but DT doesn’t seem like one of the more “faithy” guys. Maybe he ends up there if his faith is in the almighty dollar. If it ends up TOSU, I’m gonna laugh my *** off about righteous Tom.

No Rutgers and he lives an hour away and is trained by Eleazar. I knew he wouldn't go there but not being on the list was a little shocking
Rutgers is on there. Mistake on the initial graphic.

Just saw this commitment from about 3 weeks ago. Interesting for a few reasons. Pitt already has a better HWT prospect in the same HS class (AAA champ Elijah Brown). This reeks of picking up a McCort guy for a leg up on Bassett and Miller -- which isn't the worst strategy.

Boy, if Miller and Bo end up at Pitt that will shake up the wrestling landscape a bit. That would sting Iowa pretty bad.

Side note. The author of that tweet is Eric Knopsnyder. Eric was a darn good wrestler back in the 90’s. District 5 guy from Berlin Brothersvalley.

Eric Knopsnyder is also one heckuva wrestling reporter in the Johnstown area. One of many great regional reporters we're so fortunate to have in PA.

He's the guy who broke the story of Erik Gibson getting slurred by a teammate at King of the Mountain, and how that led to the entire Gibson-Bassett-Miller clan departing Forest Hills for Bishop McCort.
