I need a restaurant in and/or around Jackson to have lunch at with a girl I used to date. Preferably somewhere that won't be a cluster-17 around lunchtime.

Go.

Across the street from a bank, and near the Fondren Post office. Turn onto State Street from Woodrow Wilson, veer left at the fork after driving by UMC, it'll be on the left. Great place to just sit yourself and chat without it being too crazy.

First, they brought out free bar food (onion rings, fried green tomatoes) to our table. Then I just had the bowl of gumbo, which was really good. My best friend just started working there so I am usually there once a week or so. Dinner is kinda pricey though. That would be my only complaint so far.</p>

I've had dinner there, Shrimp and Grits, and thought the portion and price were above average. It was back in April though, and I haven't been back since, but for no specific reason.

they were aiming for. It seemed more like a bar with high priced entrees. I guess I walked in expecting bar food not a nice restaurant. The place is cool though.

be careful eating at Keifers. A friend of mine's lady friend got robbed at gunpoint last weekend at 7:30 in the morning right around the corner from there.

While I'm at it, why can't people use apostrophes when making a contraction? And why don't they know that Walmart is one word?

I know what is correct, but like most, I take a shortcut on a message board so your point is irrelevant.

You, like a lot of people, refer to it as Juleps. You think that is the name of the restaurant. I''''''''''''''''''ve also heard Bravos and others that I mentioned.

I'''ve always wondered why people do that and thought you could give me an answer.
