Wake lost again today by a run , FSU was swept by Stanford who all of a sudden is playing really good baseball. Pitt sweeps UVA and travels to Florida next weekend to play the noles . BC wins the series at ND . What going be really interesting is will BC get a host spot ? FSU has a hot Pitt team, Clemson and Miami to close. NC State losss 2/3 to VT and are on life support for a NCAA bid .
I think Clemson shows up at home next weekend and takes the series from BC. It feels like GT is locked in as #1 now and that we are pretty safely projected to finish 2nd.
It's 100% true that Pitt cannot be overlooked. It is also 100% true that the coaches and the players will not overlook them. We are not the same team that dropped 2 to UVA--in a good way. UVA does not currently appear to be the same team that took 2 of 3 from us.
The pack host the canes , travel to Stanford and close with the Tar Heels. Win those 3 series and the pack is in the tournament.
Becker didn't play the entire series and Gracia only played game 3. Credit to Pitt for doing the job and the metrics won't care that UVA was missing their two best players but those 2 guys being out significantly changes UVA's lineup.
Yeah, I don’t think they much of chance to win any of those series without Mahron and Dudan.
I don't. I guess the pessimist in me has just been assuming all along he would be back and rounding into form just in time for our bats to come to town, but admittedly that's just me guessing.
As long as it’s not elbow/arm related I would imagine he’ll be back in the rotation soon
Forearm strain according to this article from last week: https://www.on3.com/teams/nc-state-...t-races-past-nc-state-to-open-weekend-series/. Definitely something to be careful about because forearm sprain is often a precursor to a UCL.

2, wed have to sweep our next two series and them lose 2 games and we’d have the tie breaker over them.
Don't see them losing at home to dook but that series at BC could be interesting.
