I remember in 2008 some of my "former" close friends stated that Obama was "the Anti-Christ" as stated in the Bible.....and democracy in America will cease to exist when he's finished. Too bad I am no longer in contact with these men........I'm sure they are enjoying themselves now.......

Why isn't your buddy dvldog coming to your rescue? Too much egg on his face too?
What exactly is there to rescue him from? You not understanding how the appeal process works? This was going to SCOTUS regardless of how the 9th ruled. I get that you think your team just scored a TD. Cool. Before you start sucking dicks in celebration, wait until the game is over. Good lord. I'm not sure what is more sad, your behavior or that cantankerous old coot liking your every combative post. Nope, you're the most sad, he's just pathetic. Not surprising.

Republicans create bill to fracture the “nutty” 9th Circuit Court

http://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/0...bill-to-fracture-the-nutty-9th-circuit-court/

As the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has just struck down Trump’s executive order on the travel ban, Republicans are simultaneously moving to pass a bill that will split the court up.

According to Fox News, Arizona Senators Jeff Flake and John McCain have introduced legislation that will take six states out of the court, and create a whole new 12th Circuit. According to Flake, the court is overburdened, bloated, and slow.

“It represents 20 percent of the population — and 40 percent of the land mass is in that jurisdiction. It’s just too big, ”Flake told Fox Newson Wednesday. “We have a bedrock principle of swift justice and if you live in Arizona or anywhere in the 9thCircuit, you just don’t have it.”

Conservatives have never been a fan of the court, which is alleged to have a notorious left wing bias due to 18 of the court’s 25 judges being appointed by Democrats. It has earned the nickname “the nutty 9th” by those on the right due to this, and the fact that many of its rulings have been overturned by the Supreme Court.

The 9th Circuit was created in 1891 when the area was very sparse with only four percent of the population. Today, it contains 20 percent. This is why Flake believes it’s time to split the court up, and lessen its power.

Under Flake’s bill, the new circuit would cover Nevada, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Arizona and Alaska, leaving the 9th with three Pacific states as well as the Northern Mariana Islands and Guam.

The problem, as Flake mentions, is that the judges of the 9th Circuit will not want to give up their jurisdiction.

And so it begins....didn't take long before the Republicans following Trump's lead. Now they are attacking the courts. This is the strategic move of dictators who take over through democratic means. Divide the people (Check)......now take out the Courts (working on that)........next is end civil liberties (without the Courts, nobody can stop them).

Hooray for American democracy!!!!!!

Funny how the willful ignorant forget that "attacking the court" is not something new to Trump.

How is he taking out the courts by adding in an additional circuit court of appeals? In fact, it increases efficiency so people can have their appeals heard quicker.

You guys and your angst.

There is a difference though. Previous POTUS's have disagreed with the court's decision without trying to discredit them or later blame them if anything happens.

We have checks and balances for a reason, and we have multiple levels of courts and an appeal process for a reason too. Trying to discredit any of the judges (like Trump has done at least twice now) by a POTUS is definitely a precedent being set by Trump. One that I hope dies with his exit from the WH because it has no place in our system of government.

Calling out the court during the state of the union speech is not different than calling them out on twitter.

No, but calling them "so called judges" or saying that they aren't going to be unbiased because they are Mexican isn't the same as disagreeing with their decision either.

Did I say "take out"? No. I said "attack". Do your research. It's actually pretty elementary in understanding the cornerstones of establishing a dictatorship......and controlling the Courts is at the top.
