Michigan is the ONLY team in the Elite Eight that is not from the West, South or Southwest!

While me and my detractors were debating whether Big 12 or Big 10 was the superior conference, guess who has THREE teams in the Elite Eight: The Pac-12.

And the Pac-12 could have 3 teams in the Final Four. Might as well move March Madness to California or Oregon.

I under-estimated them and so did nearly everyone not living on the West Coast.

Big 10's only survivor, Michigan, will play UCLA of the Pac-12.

The Oregon-Southern Cal winner, both in the Pac-12, will play #1 Gonzaga of the West Coast Conference.

Oregon State of the Pac-12 will play Houston of the non-Power 5 American Athletic Conference.

The Big 12's only survivor, Baylor, will play SEC's Arkansas.

Elite Eight in 2021 March Madness
12 Oregon State Pac-12
1 Baylor Big 12
3 Arkansas SEC
2 Houston AAC
1 Gonzaga West Coast
1 Michigan Big 10
11 UCLA Pac-12
6 Southern Cal vs. 7 Oregon

It's a single game elimination tournament. You lose you're out. This does not define 1 conference better than another. Would upsets happen if it was best 2 out 3 games instead of 1?

Exactly! Have you ever seen anybody in your fan base so invested in the outcome of a Michigan/Florida State game? I mean, it was obvious before the game that CFE was rooting hard against Michigan, but then he rushed back to the board after Michigan had crushed the Seminoles to "double down" on his never-ending, the Big 12 is deeper than the Big 10 argument. Nothing Michigan did yesterday supported his argument, but the delusional one "doubled down," anyway. You must cringe whenever he starts another thread.
