This is going to be really nice --- i think would work for us, but ditch the student center (b/c we have one already) and replace with coaching offices --- and outside on the edge (above the bottom seating for students) have landscaping, etc.

complete with club level, suites, a big *** board, a restaurant and high dollar rooms to stay in on top. Wish i could computer design **** but ive head the image in my head for years. of course it would never happen but i would still like to see the image in my head on some sort of computer graphic. </p>

If the north end is eventually bowled in, I think the skybox/club level area above it should also have the "wrap around" effect.

Our goal posts don't line up with the center of any of our endzone structures - student bleechers, jumbotron, M Club building, etc.

the reason we did that was because Sherrill wanted a bigger sideline for us so we shifted the field. I am ok with it being off center if that is the reason.

I would like, as part of any renovation of the stadium, if we lowered the field a few feet and added more seating down low and close to the field. You can see in the pic of the Ohio State horseshoe how they did that. There was a track around their field until not too many years ago. They removed that and added the lower tier of seats you can see in the photo. Its actually an inexpensive way to do such a thing - relative to going up. Navy did the same thing at Navy Marine Corps Memorial and it really improved the atmosphere by putting seats all the way around close to the field.

Lowering the field and adding seats closer would not really be called inexpensive. Dirtwork costs alot more money than you think and dirtwork is only the beginning. The concentration should be on the north endzone, period. There is alot of nice things that can be done to that end of the field. A nicer larger stadium would definately help recruiting and attracting a larger fanbase. I like the space we have on the sidelines, I say leave the sidelines alone, we have plenty of other places to grow @ DWS.

I dont like how UNC's addition has that free-standing look. I would go wide with the suites rather than up; I think it makes the lines of the stadium flow better and adds more to the "bowl" look.

I also wish we would build some sort nice big entrances to the stadium at each corner so you feel like you are walking INTO something rather than underneath it.

was saying, that kind of dirt work wouldn't be inexpensive. This would be one of the last options we would look at for adding seats and they may look at this option in 60-70 years. Also I'm pretty sure the Indians wouldn't be happy about even more dirt work going on and of course we'd have to rebury bully.

I'd like to see our North end zone bowled in like Ohio but with a few changes. At the top of the lower level of seating, I'd like a HUGE patio area with specialty concessions and table seating like LP Field in Nashville. Then, above and to the rear of that, match the club level seating of the east side and bring that all the way around the West side so that it all matches. Then connect the upper levels and blend them to match.

Great statement. The "underneath" - ness of it is part of what gives the high school impression.

that if we bowled in the endzone then the SEC might really do something about the cowbells. It would be really loud with the sound bouncing off the endzone.
