Ledford had a QB who had been in our system. He stood last year with their D Coordinator so they basically knew what play we were running. To win you do what you need to but the Ledford coaches shared this info with East Duplin before we played them in the state semifinals!!

Coaches have their cornerbacks stay close to the opposing sidelines to listen for formations and calls. Coaches also study film and scout to see what the signals are and if they run the same offense and formations it is pretty easy to see what is coming. That is the disadvantage of signaling plays versus a huddle. Who verified that the LHS staff shared anything with E. Duplin?

Numerous folks. I have been told by five different people including one that was told by the coaches themselves!!

The first game last year everyone noticed the qb standing next to the d coordinator. That is an irrefutable fact. Didn't do much good, ND won 22-10 in a game not all that close.

Second game was an ego trip. North operated its offense with a huddle to guard against signal stealing. They rammed it down ledfords throat, playing ledford style ball all night.

The result was a quick moving clock of a game that barely lasted over an hour.
Again, the 17-10 score in a slowdown Virginia style football game was not indicative of how much control the Knights had.

As far as accusations of giving signals to a school far away? Maybe it happened, maybe it didn't. I dunno. But if it DID happen, that is bush league to the ultimate level LMAO. And would prove ultimately how sorry those jokers are. So we'll just act like it DID happen, if only for tonight...

Can't wait for tonight! Go Black Knights go!

You can pass on Ledford's secondary. Their LBs and Dline are the strength on the defense. # 34 is a man-Child. Offensively Ledford needs to utilize their backs more.

Final. Ledford 9. North 7.

North has a chance to win it late with a first and goal at the 6. They lost 5 yards and then missed a 28 yarder. Bad special teams. The safety resulted from a 25 yard long snap in the first quarter.
