We have no interior defense. UNT knows it.
This might be the toughest game since ksu and konkol will need the halftime to fix a few weaknesses which he has done many times in this present streak and on the road. The team with the best coaching adjustments will win which I like our chances. North Texas appears to be much better then there net 😂

UNT is 17-1 in the Super Pit the past two years and undefeated there this year.

At the 13:30 mark of the second half the fouls were UNT 5-Tulsa 0. 8 min later it’s UNT 6- Tulsa 8

This is unfortunate, no one got hot from 3 and things just didn't work out on the road.

When you shoot 40% from 3 you win most of the time... we didn't do that tonight. Going to have to pay them back at home and also win the American Tourney or no NCAA.

4 fouls in 7 seconds when we hadn’t had one in 8 minutes
We can live with a loss here if it happens and the net won’t fall much we need a comeback Again
We're not there yet. Way too early to say that.
Getting beat by a 173 net team and now not even 1st in AAC should get our teams attention and motivation but road games might be our Achilles heal.

We are always "there" in the NIL era... I see SEC teams that haven't ever been relevant that will be shoe-ins for the Big Dance as middle of the pack finishers. The NIL was always going to squeeze out schools like Tulsa, we do not bring enough revenue to the equation to matter except as occasional Cinderellas.

We can probably afford to lose only 2-3 conference games to be considered a bubble team, and this is one of them.

I am not melting. In fact, if you have read my previous posts you would know I have been consistant in my believe that the American is a one bid league and Tulsa needs to win the Conference Tournament to erase all doubts come selection Sunday.

Saying I am melting down, doesn't make it true just like me explaining this to a brick wall doesn't mean the brick wall will understand it.

Unc was a 10 seed we were a 7 seed and favored over unc in that Elite 8 game not an Eliete 8 game 😂 you are right win the aac tourney or no ncaa. I’m curious to see if this loss takes us off the bracketology tomorrow and replace us with Memphis 😂.

The chances of us getting taken off the bracketiology tommorrow are pretty good, until we put another streak together.

On that I disagree, but you could prove me wrong come selection sunday.

This was a game I expect Tulsa to win by 10+. Shoot 40% from 3 today and that might have happened. In my opinion, UNT will not be one of the top 3 most difficult road games we play this year in the American. UAB, FIU, Wichita St, South Florida, and Tulane will be more difficult in my mind.

They came close today, might be a motivator or provide more focus. Even the Eliete 8 team lost 3 times to Fresno St and once to ORU (that game sucked to be at).

The team is definitely fun to watch and expecting them to win every game is a welcome change from the past several years.

I think I'd substitute Memphis for Tulane despite what happened today with UAB. This is a team(N Texas) that will be a tough match up for us specifically, but not a tough matchup for some other teams.
