Just got threw looking at some Hertford County vs Rocky Mount film. Yeah it would be wise to hit the middle of Rocky Mount's dline in the run game. #15 K.Silver at DE is a major problem for offenses! He is a man among boys. Run, Run, far, far, faaaarrrrrrr away from this kid! He is a monster! Put 2 guys....3 guys...heck put 11 guys on him! Whatever it takes! Do not let him hit your QB!! lol
71% completion percentage is pretty crazy for the Proctor kid. He is a good one.
Pretty solid reporting from the local Rocky Mount paper. Heck of alot better than what we get from the reflector in Pitt county. This guy actually does his homework.
Please. The Telegram is supposed to be a Nash and Edgecombe county paper, but if a sports article is not about Rocky Mount High School, then it may get a short paragraph. Their all-around sports coverage leaves a lot to be desired. And The Reflector (Greenville) is Rose heavy, but you won't find a thing about Rose if they lose.

I know this better than most about the Rose bias. Living in Pitt county you never hear a word if Rose or Conley get blown out but let any other Pitt team struggle or get blown out and its wall to wall coverage. Poor Farmville gets a whole page to themselves about how how bad they get beat. Yet Rose puts up a nothing burger to Rocky Mount and crickets. It just looked to me this particular article was fair to all teams mentioned by the Telegram. I'm well aware how the bias goes.
Wont read about Rose this weekend either after Southern Nash lays the wood to them.
Lol guess it will be Jaguar misery again this week with my Saturday morning coffee. That and how bad SC looks.

I will say the Reflector was more than happy to give SWE the super bowl coverage treatment when yall blew out my young falcons this year. SWE got a half page picture with Cortezz Jones and a page and a half of how yall were able to dismantle us. Yet NE pounds on Rose the second half and shuts them out for those 2 quarters and it got 1 small caption with the final score lol.
I think they will have a crew 10 minutes up the road. This game is definitely worthy of their coverage, I agree.
Lol. I'm telling you, they refuse to be negative about Rose, even when its only truthful reporting. Will probably read more about John Paul II and their game.
It's a noteworthy game for those that know about eastern NC football, but my guess is that they've covered two RM games already, vs Tarboro and vs DHC. Should Probably make the tarboro game up with this one, though. But they will be at the SWE/Tar game.
Oh yeah! the media wants to build John Paul ll into the next Cardinal Gibbons or the next Charlotte Catholic. With the public and private funding they will eventually get it. Smh.
Lol yeah the caption read something to the effect "mental mistakes derail a Rose victory" LMAO! That's BS. Those penalties came late in the 4th. It doesnt excuse the quarter and a half of absolutely no defense with NE running up the middle nearly every play. With the occasional torch pass play for a TD.lol
Absolutely not! They focused their attention on how Farmville lost by 40 something to Ayden Grifton. They talked more about the Farmville touchdown than they did about the RM/Rose game. Not even mentioned on Sept 14th on the website but the Farmville beatdown is wall to wall. lol
