That final play of the first half (a crazy long Eagles Pick 6 plus the successful 2 point conversion) was the game, in my opinion. That is what I said to all the folks around me. I don't think that they believed me but well...

Northumberland had mostly controlled the momentum & energy and, with it, basically the entire first half. The Indians were up 7-0 late in the 2nd Q and driving for a another probable score (a TD or maybe a field goal as NHS has a very good kicker in Blake).

The Eagles got the nice pick in the Red Zone with the NHS receiver basically just watching it happen.

Then the W&L kid made an amazing like 85 yard Pick 6 return weaving down the side line through almost the NHS entire team. The Eagles got the 2 point conversion and headed into halftime having completely flipped the game in their favor. Well done!

Congrats to Washington and Lee Eagles on the big win and spoiling the Indians' Homecoming festivities.

The Eagles most likely locked up the 3rd seed in the NND/Region A (or should have anyway no matter what the final points say).

Northampton will more than likely finish 8-2 and get the 3rd seed. I'll leave the points system to the gurus though. Lol
