40 to 0 at the end of 1st Quarter starters for Northumberland only played 1 quarter last night

Lancaster forfeited after 2 minutes into the fourth quarter. I’m guessing the score and lack of depth. I hate to see that. Northumberland had most of their non starters in after the 1st quarter. Lancaster has been down the last 6 or 7 years. I know Lancaster has never been a powerhouse program in the nnd. But they did have some competitive teams. I hope they can find a way to rebuild their program back.

Back around 2000 they had a BEAST running back at Lancaster. Can’t remember his name but recall he told people he got 20 college letters in the mail every day and if they weren’t D1, he didn’t even open them. Can’t remember if he landed at CNU or if it was something else like Apprentice School in Newport News.

Kaveh Conoway, def was a monster and had D1 looks but something about grades or SATs is what kept him from going D1. He was conference Freshman of the year as CNU RB & didn't start until his the 2nd game of the year

Lancaster has a lack of community support. They are only worried about basketball and baseball now.
