So, I guess the outcome of this game really shouldn't matter to Husker fans since Nebraska defeated both teams, but who do you find yourself pulling for?

My gut says to cheer for Northwestern, as I really don't care much for Indiana, and I think it's nice for the West to compete well against the East.

Other lines of interest:

Purdue @ Nebraska (-24) In my opinion, the Huskers get the run game moving and the D continues to shine by pitching a shut-out (or possibly giving up 7-10) Huskers cover this one.

Wisconsin -3 @ Iowa This one has a trap game feel to it. Iowa is definitely not at Wisconsin's level, but playing at home in a rivalry game after having Wisconsin's hearts ripped out, it just has the feeling of an upset. I take Iowa and the points.

Wyoming -5 @ Nevada Quietly, Bohl has Wyoming playing competitive football with a 4-2 record. However, on the road, a team like Wyoming will take any kind of win and in this case, I take the points and the home dog.

Colorado @ Stanford -3 The Buffs are playing a new brand of football, just in time for the series vs. Nebraska. I think Colorado continues to compete, but Stanford wins this one by a TD.

I like Northwestern. Think about the emotional psyche of Indiana after playing Wake, Michiga State, OSU, and the Huskers.

I will pull for N'western. Seems like a much more respected program, we play them every year, and Pat Fitzgerald seems to know how to put together a good football team.

As for the other games, there was one other game that interests me. It's the NU game (just kidding around). I'm not a sports better. I hope we win by 24+.

If Wyoming's QB doesn't overthrow a wide open WR for a TD in our game, the outcome I think would've been much closer....

I'm taking Nebraska, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Colorado.

Nebraska should win by 40 unless Purdue scores a bunch of trash TDs against Nebraska's second string like they did against Iowa.

Wisconsin probably won't let Iowa score unless they commit a TO and Iowa kicks a FG. It's gonna be a very low scoring game. Something like 17-9.

I don't know much about this other game so I just picked the home team.

Colorado has helped me a few times this season covering in my pool. They are leaps and bounds better than last year and Stanford is not nearly as good as last year. Buffs it is.

I believe the visiting team has won the last 5 meetings between Iowa / Wisconsin.

So they played better by beating concussion QB Leineard 14-7 and they beat Fired Head Coach Hazell by a comfortable margin...

Let me ask you this, what Iowa record going to be before we play them?

I would bet on Northwestern. Their offense is clicking and I think Indiana will be emotionally shot, as Cornicator mentioned above.

Stay far away from Wisconsin-Iowa. No idea what happens there.

Like I mentioned the last 5 games the winner of the Iowa / Wisconsin game has been the visiting team..

I can't see Iowa scoring much on the Bagers "D" they will shut down Iowa running game and put pressure on Bethard in the pocket and get their share of sacks.

Wisky wins by 10-13points.

I agree Wisconsin shot its load last week. Iowa wins this one at home and they are playing better. Now that being said I want the Cheeseheads to win.

If I was forced to bet; I would probably go with 1-3 for Iowa in these four games. I really feel like 2-2 or worse is the lock bet; and I am an Iowa fan from before we joined the Ten. I don't know enough about PSU, but I feel they can be stout at home. The real ? ; is this the New get a contract extension Iowa of last year, or they may be falling into their old pattern. GBR

Indiana has a stingy little team, they may not be a great team but obviously they can give someone problems which they proved with both Ohio State and Nebraska. I think Indiana is the better team and will win although I would rather see the west teams beat those from the east.

I thought going into the Indiana game that Northwestern was the better team between the two, and I still feel that way.

If Nebraska would've been healthy at Indiana, they win the game going away and don't look back after taking that early 17-0 lead.

But we have been playing a lot of bottom of the barrel teams. Iowa has been uncharacteristically committing a lot of penalties this year. To have any chance against Wisconsin they will need to play near mistake free. Even then it's going to be a long shot. Captain conservative Kirk better pull some tricks out of his bag. Totally vanilla, and punting from inside the other teams 35 won't cut it this time.
I'm hoping to see Fant get more involved.

I think Iowa can beat Wisconsin. Would not surprise me. That said the badgers are the best team in the west. I'd love to see a rematch with them and the Buckeyes in the CCG.

I took wisky -3. Also quite interested in the neb under. If there was ever a game to win and get it over asap, this is it.

The best sports bettor i know took purdue +24.5 yesterday. Makes some sense to me.

I was only replying to the point about the line swinging significantly one way or another due to injury. It would need difficult to trust Purdue to cover if the line were to drop significantly.

They are a team that is basically giving teams 2 to 3 easy touchdowns per game through turnovers, special teams errors, or poor discipline.
