I see what you are saying but the it was not a called fake from the sideline... Wideout not covered, punter is told to throw it.

Texas defensive man, if the punter hadn't under thrown that it would have been six. Ballsy call, but it turned out okay for them.

Since it was 4th and 20+ I think they gave the appearance they busted their coverage. The punter did what he is supposed to do. But being such a long yardage situation, it gave the UT players "out of position" plenty of time to recover and make the play. My theory at least. I just don't think the special teams unit of a team in the champ game could make that kind of error.
