Not hiring a GM is such a Mississippi State thing to do

I don't think she's our GM. She hangs out during baseball in the sponsors area, just past the last box area in LF and hangs out with sponsors like bank employees, insurance companies, farm companies etc etc and helps cook and entertain

Good hell. Marc Votteler is the GM, head of Player Personnel. Amazing how little people know.
Considering the hand he was dealt, you better be rooting like hell for him.
Sharp guy & probably thinking why the hell am I here?

Poor decisions made on campus & almus/fans who were not willing to give any $ to NIL ($10, $50 or $100 per month).
Rent is due & this is what you get....

with all due respect, Bo, the program HAS been a bit of a dumpster fire the last 2 years, and before that, Cohen didn't get on board with NIL and get the alums/fans engaged in a collective. It's really hard to get those $5, $10, $50, $100 a month donations when your program is a dumpster fire from top to bottom, including Keenum

With the 4 names one has to ask ... Are they transitioning from Anne Gillespie to Brett Strickland or something... I hate to shoot down our own like this, but...

That’s also a fallacy too. How many people are donating to football? What is the latest enrollment of BDC or any of the other funds? Probably less than 15k. If all of those people donated $100, that still wouldn’t be a spit in the bucket. Corporate dollars have to float us due to the size of our fanbase.

She runs Bulldog Sports Properties. Sells ads for radio and in-stadium promotions.

$25 / month X 15,000 = $375,000 a month revenue. If my math is correct, that's $4,500,000 a year. I'd say that's more than a spit in the bucket. If you used your $100 / mo example, that's $18,000,000 a year. Bo was talking about monthly giving to the collective, not one time $25 or $100 donations

I’m trying to be realistic. You are asking for every person to donate an additional $1200 year. That ain’t happening. We couldn’t get them to donate another $100 year.

If he’s a sharp guy, no way he would have stepped into this nightmare.

that's why i used the $25 / mo example. Bo was referring to recurring monthly giving to the collective

Realistic?

how much are you donating a month?

donate $30 a month and convince 3 other people to do it.

It’s not an either/or situation. We need both. Even if corporate money accounts for a vast majority of our NIL funds, the “average Joe” money still matters. Whether it’s $500k, $1MM or $2MM per year, we need all we can get.

And with idiot fans CONSTANTLY spewing this kind of nonsense, it is shocking that we have ANYBODY wanting to be a part of MSU football/athletics
That's hilarious coming from you since nobody likes to "spew nonsense" and sh it on baseball more than you. "Club sport, waste of money, blah blah blah

The reality is every time we have a good sports team, we jump on board. From softball to soccer to ladies basketball.

Our baseball is a prime example of a good atmosphere bringing in fans and money. For some reason, football doesn’t want to follow the same blue print.
Do you not remember Mullen’s opening press conference in early 2009? His exact comment was “It ain’t about winning then getting fan support. We need your support. Show up, support this program, and wins will follow.” He PROVED that from 2010 forward.

Now our dubmass ”fans” want to be entitled and say “if you win, I’ll show up & support you.” It doesn’t work that way and never has. Especially now!
