Not impressed with first OL pickup...

Gotta call it like I see it. Impressed with a lot Beamer has done during talking season. So far things have gone really good after a 4-8 season.

But this pick up doesn't do much to think we are upgrading the OL. #32 ranked IOL in the transfer portal. This is the guy's 4th school. That is a red flag right there to me.

But I know Beamer isn't asking me my opinion.... That is why I post it on a message board. haha.

He started 9 games at Center last year, so maybe he is being looked at as a center, so where does he rank vs the centers, that may provide more context then vs the other guards. I have not watched the UCF line play, LOL, so I have no idea if he is any good or not.

Hand him the ball and get us 3 yards. No one, literally no one wants to tackle that. 3 yards a pop is a given.

Won't happen though. We gotta be "fancy" in our losing.

I’ve noticed an OL characteristic in the playoff teams; looks like our new coaches subscribe to that as well.

I’ll have my ‘impressions’ when these guys are on the field.

Oh man, no wonder when I showed up this morning I couldn't get into the building.
But I will say this Anon.... You don't have to be part of the staff to know that offensive line sucked this year. I can tell you that.
