Supposedly, UGA has already turned some stuff over to the NCAA on the bears. Apparently their coaching staff even told Tunsil (sp?) to "enjoy playing with a bowl ban."
Also, I have no connections on this, but I can't imagine that our administration/network would let the Chris Jones thing die if he signed with ole miss. I mean it is easy math...... MSU lock, then out of nowhere the dad shows up pushing Ole Miss and only Ole Miss. And let's be honest, there is no way the dad grew up an Ole Miss fan, so I wounder what in the world could have made him so adamant about it?
Then again, after the Cam thing maybe it is the wild west out there and we just have to adapt and put together a good fund for these family incentive packages.

Everyone should watch "Pony Excess" on Youtube. There are some very similar things going on here.

I said this before, and I'll say it aGAIN... as long as OM is flipping our recruits, the NCAA will continuously turn a blind eye to it... but the second Freeze and Co. start pulling Bama, Auburn, UF, LSU, UGA, etc. 5* recruits and they say 2 weeks before signing day they "would be happier at OM," something will be done. Georgia may not be at UF and Bama's level, but they are pretty damn close... and I'll be willing to bet they have a hell of a lot more rapport with the NCAA than OM does.

I wonder if Slive will publicly chastise cash cow UGA for going straight to the NCAA with information on recruiting violations instead of going through the SEC's sweep-it-under-the-rug department? (If indeed that has occurred?)

I joined the message boards back in 03. Every year it has been someone has something on the Rebels and they're being turned in. At first I believed the stories. Not so much anymore.

I wouldn't get too excited about that rumor

Until UM does something with the guys they are bringing in, nobody outside of MS gives a ****. It's not worth starting a fight if their cheating doesn't matter. It's kind of like suing someone but not being able to prove damages.

Look at Auburn. That is the dirtiest program in the country. The NCAA has crawled all up Auburn' ***, but they won't be on probation any time soon. The one opportunity they had was with Cam, but the SEC wouldn't let cheating get in the way of a national championship.

We just suck at cheating because we have not kept up with the rest of the world. It's going to be a while before he have all the pieces in place to compete. UM has always had the pieces, they just didn't give a damn until Freeze got them motivated.

Everyone is better off figuring out how to win in the gray areas without getting caught than standing around complaining about everyone else's cheating.

Only rumor I've heard concerning Ole Miss

came from a UA fan. His version was that there was some UM legacy player in Memphis that was hoping for an offer from UM but was told he wouldn't get an offer. Later, a coach (not Freeze I don't think) said he wanted to talk to the player's dad. The dad is hoping maybe an offer is coming. But no, the coach asks the dad to help bankroll an offer to another player.

I have no idea if this is true, but the UA fan's source is supposedly an associate of the dad in question. And I haven't heard anything about the dad turning them in (just think he got pissed off). But perhaps this is another indication that the Right Reverend Freeze knows how to play the game.
