I've not been a stringer as much as I've been in the past but I've seen Bill, Rod, you, and other Clarion-Ledger writers/editors/sportsfolks at past games I've covered...

Rod Walker, a State grad, is a huge, huge loss. Fine reporter and writer, knows the state frontward and backward.

Did not realize Walker was an MSU grad, but I agree that he is an outstanding reporter. Big loss for the Clarion Ledger.

I too am a huge Atlanta Braves fan. Took my wife to her first trip to Turner Field last week, she loved it as the Braves beat the Cardinals by scoring two runs in the bottom of the 8th. Exciting game and now she actually watches the games with me on channel 649 Directv. Looks as if the Clarion Ledger is going the way of most print newspapers. Soon it will be nothing but an online source.
