Not one person has asked Brown how in November you don't have a #3 RB

Honestly there's not a real #2.

Sinkfield is average at best at Punt Return.

At running back behind Brown he's not big but he's slow.

I thought both Mathis and Sparrow were both "real big time recruits" ???

Maybe against Baylor or Eastern Kentucky.

When you play that level of game you stick with your dogs.

Oklahoma St has two RBs
Texas had two because the third is injured

The "Texas fan" is on a WVU message board at 3:42 a.m. again? Call me, "skeptical." It's going to become increasing difficult to keep three quality running backs, given the active transfer market, and the fact that players will be given the automatic right to transfer once without having to sit out for a season. Backup running backs will transfer for increased playing time opportunities, just as many quarterbacks have been doing for the past few years. Ohio State has four running backs who can play at a high level, but will lose at least one of them to the transfer portal before next season, and Trey Sermon will probably test the NFL Draft waters in April.

Ohio St has two RBs..
When you play a close game you will see.

You had two RBs last year
Dobbins and Teague

Sermon and Teague will be the RBs who get the carries in a close game

Rest of the players are depth pieces.
Very few teams have three RBs they will give 10+ carries to.

RB is a different position than QB. RBs are told they won't get the ball too many times.
If they disagree they can go somewhere that will take the tread off the tires.

You force the RBs to fight for carries...
Usually with this you will find one who is having a big game.

But when you have a great RB it is hard to find more than 1 to compete with him.

One is a True Fresh, one is a Redshirt Freshmen, and one of the writers asked Parker about them both, and explained why they havent got as much reps, which is common sense. Most programs have two main guys. I suspect we will see all three this week if Brown is a no go...

The 2021 class is the first class with a 4 star RB, since L Brown(2018), we also have two 4 star RB's in the 2021 class, so improving RB talent was obviously a priority for this class as the 2020 & 2019 would be considered serviceable. I may have a bit higher expectations for Sparrow, as his speed, if it continues to improve, may open up some versatility within the running game, but he'll need time to develop..

Even when a coach improves talent level / recruiting, it takes a couple years for that talent to be developed. We just have to give NB a 4-5 years to get the talent he needs to deploy the schemes he feels puts us in the best position to win. The change we seek simply requires time..... time = YEARS. Esp for a program that if compared to a corporation would be one step away from bankruptcy, due to the previous staff inability to recruit consistently.

You don't know **** about Ohio State, so stop pretending that you do. Steele Chambers (stripper's name, I know) is pushing for more playing time, as he's been more impressive than Sermon in limited carries. Marcus Crowley will be heard from by the end of the year, if anybody gets dinged up, as he was only the best running back in the State of Florida a couple of years ago, and showed promise in limited action last season. Only a rash of injuries has kept him off of the field this season. We don't need to convert quarterbacks into running backs like Texas does.

You sound like a homer on a WVU message board

Ohio State has issues at RB.
Sermon isn't that great. He tried to come to Texas with his former coach but we didn't need him. He fell to fourth string at OU.
Teague is above average at best.

Those as of right now are your serviceable RBs.
Truth is Leddie Brown is better than both

The make-believe Texas fan is bragging about WVU again. I expose you for being a total fraud virtually every day. Tommy Herman had to play a quarterback at running back on Saturday, due to depth issues. My quarterback is so much better than your idol Ehlinger that it's scary...the stable of running backs in Columbus is much deeper than Texas', too.

Robinson is the only running back on Texas' roster who would see the field in Columbus, and even he had done nothing before Saturday.

Roschon Johnson was recruited to play RB

Herman was just smart enough to convince him to move positions

Truthfully they wanted Noah Cain. But because he was an IMG player other things got into the way.

Face the facts...
Your RBs aren't any good

Haven't been for awhile. One position Ohio State needs to improve.
They will next year most likely

Noah Cain is injured, so Tommy got lucky to lose that recruiting battle. Now, Garrett Wilson and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, on the other hand...

IMG...
Penn State at that time was developing RBs better than Texas

Texas is getting to the point they can get a IMG RB.

Sad situation. What happens. I didn't know much about IMG until this. The family pretty much put it out there.
