Our schedule is tougher than any other going back to the 2000 season. Only Oklahoma in 2005 comes close.

...the distance between the strength of our schedule and the rest of the pack is not even close. The distance between us and the 2nd toughest schedule (Florida State) is roughly the same distance between #2 and #35.

We were 52nd last year, and we have the same record.

Oregon, WV, Georgia Tech all peaked or were close to their peak when we got around to playing them. At the time they were scheduled I thought it good to play an average team from a name brand conference. But we rolled snake eyes multiple times in a row.

For other teams to be in the mix for the MNC, we seem to have been roadkill.

At least, we have the testicular fortitude, ballz, to face off against the best teams in the country.
I'd not have it any other way.

we clearly have the biggest difference between #1 and #2 in any year. Also, the bowls could push us back to #1. Either way, having the toughest or 2nd toughest schedule of any team in the country in the last 10 years is still quite a statement.
