Exactly. Couldn’t make shots, yet we were still in the game.
Kansas just lost on the road.
Again road games are tough to come by in college basketball when the opponent is at least decent . But I’m sure most of this board will just call Kansas overrated anyway .

And Auburn in a dog fight in Cameron.
Auburn is way better than Duke, but it’s in Cameron, so Duke has a good shot at the upset.
Yeah they keep closing the gap but Duke continues to go up 5 or 6 points .
Like you said this game being at Cameron probably is a huge difference.
Every single one of those teams has better talent than we do. Why even do this? Everyone on this site knows that.
I was expecting (hoping) we'd go 1-1 in these road games. I will admit to being a little deflated if we lose to Gonzaga following this loss.
Won't change how excited I am for the future of UK basketball, but the biggest benefit to a veteran team (even one that is thrown together) is their experience should be prepared for anything thrown at them this early in the season.
