Not surprised that Ole Miss lost last night...

but I am surprised at how out of sync the Ole Miss offense looks. Heck, I know Ellis Johnson is a good DC, but Ole Miss struggled against the Memphis defense for the first 3 quarters as well. And on top of that, Georgia did put up 41 points on the SC defense so they are capable of being scored on.

Its just a little bit puzzling that given the way the Ole Miss offense was clicking toward the end of last year with Snead playing so well that they are struggling so now with so many players back. Obviously they are weaker at the LT position but it appears to be more than just that.

UGA only had 304 yards of offense against South Carolina. SC's defense did a good job against Georgia. They were put on a short field quite a few times though, and that led to the high point total.

Our offense definitely struggled more than expected last night, but SC's defense has been pretty good this year all around.

I long to have EJ back now that we actually have a competent offensive scheme. However, that being said, the Ole Miss offense was expected to be quite good this year as well.
