If Dixon were to rush for over 200 yards in each of his next 3 games and we won them, do you think he would get invited to the Downtown Athletic Club for the Heisman trophy awards presentation?

That would mean he rushed for 1600+ yards, close to 15 TDs, and put MSU literally on his back to go 7-5 and to a bowl game (at 5-3 in the SEC, possibly New Years Day type bowl). He'd probably finish #3 in the nation (at worst) in rushing. Honestly, even doing all of that I don't think he'd get invited. But in a year with no clear cut favorite, he would deserve an invite.

Edit:
Here's my prediction of who gets invites to the Downtown Athletic Club:
Keenum (as long as Houston wins out and wins CUSA, and continues to put up monster numbers)
Clausen (assuming ND doesn't have a complete collapse)
Ingram (will continue to be the workhorse for the Tide all the way to the SECCG)

and going to a bowl game. BUT if he performed as you suggested, he SHOULD be invited. The only reason for him not to be invited would be that we are MState and not an awesome team. His numbers would certainly be on par with Bama's guy.

If he gets over a 100 against a defense that's better than some NFL teams and follows up with 300 over the last two, lots of heads will turn.
