Memphis in May results. Mississippi teams did well.

The Shed won first place in whole hog. Second went to Yazoo Delta Q (people that own Memphis BBQ Co.)

Grand Champion went to Sweet Swine of Mine from Olive Branch. They have won several times. They get a nice check of 30 grand for winning.

I was a guest at the Shed a few years ago. I think they are from the coast....Ocean Springs maybe? Good que. I passed on BBQ fest this year. Just didn't feel like dealing with the crowd and all the drunks.

What style sauce you looking for? I have a good "Mississippi Sweet" recipe. MS Sweet tends to be sweet, smoky, with a little spice at the end. I can pass along if you think you may like. Go great on ribs, pulled pork, anything.

Joe Horn's sauce is worth a try. $5 for a gallon on Amazon. Best out of a bottle I've ever had.

KC Masterpiece Thick and Spicy used to be my favorite over the counter. I've swapped to Sweet Baby Ray's.

The Shed is between Ocean Springs and Vancleave. If you triangulate Saucier, Ocean Springs and Vancleave you got it about right. Great place for BBQ and Blues on Friday and Saturday nights. I am an old "Shed Head."

Food Network is currently filming a "reality" series at the Shed. I hear about 2 dozen episodes. Would imagine they were filming at MIM
