Was watching ESPN and saw Reed (No. 25) dancing around after making a non-hit in the Wiscy game. At least we got on tv-------for all the wrong reasons. Oh well, GBR.

That's about as hard as you can hit someone and not get ejected. Must be why he was celebrating. I don't think I'd want to be a safety in today's game.

Wasn’t Reed the same one who blew up the CU receiver on an uncatchable ball when they were 3rd and 24?

Saw that. The only thing that would have made it better is if he’d got pancaked.

Interesting. He came in and delivered a glancing blow thinking he really did something. I didn't think it was that big of a hit. He apparently thought it was.

I remember back in the early 70's when I played DB and the 8mm movie film was just coming out. We were one of the first to use this for FB games. Anyway I thought I really blew this kid up on a pass route and couldnt wait to see it on film. I was pretty embarrassed how weak it actually was, but it sure felt like a big hit in my mind

Hitting someone hard and dancing is bad when you are down multiple scores. Hitting someone hard and dancing is even worse when you are down multiple scores and when your hit didn't even knock the guy down. Same guy with bonehead play against colorado.

I would be all for someone else starting and playing all the snaps at safety from here on out.

One other thing I would add is the fact that the"big hit" came after a 15 yard gain at the point of the hit. Play resulted in a 24 yard gain and a first down. Not to mention getting your clock cleaned during the dance.

it was unacceptable and indicative of the culture problems.

Go back and watch the CU game. I was watching and it about made me sick watching all the bravado when they got a sack or broke up a pass. The hands on the hip stare like "look at me" crap was evident. You don't do that stuff continually unless the coaches allow it. I am all for the emotion, football is a highly emotional game but showboating, grandstanding and chest pumping are not my favorite outlet for that emotion. Bottom line for me the coaches put up with it and now it makes us look like idiots. Really, go back and watch that game.

Saw that too. Sad thing is - he probably thinks it’s cool he got highlighted on ESPN. Probably put the link up on his Twitter.
