I have spoken with sources including all that I trust and there is no reason whatsoever to believe that the rumors floating around recently are true. Because I am confident of this we will be doubling down with greater scrutiny to prevent those rumors from circulating. For the past 48-72 hours we have deleted posts, edited posts and tried to use as much discretion as possible, striking the most perfect balance possible between respecting your free speech rights and preventing a person's character to be smeared without facts or anything substantiated. Say what you will about Mark Stoops as a coach, as the leader of UK's football program or whatever, but there will be no conversation about his personal life in the way that some have tried to engaged in. One of the problems we ran into is that every time a post or topic was made and subsequently edited/deleted, three, four or five more sprang up with more suspicion, anger and rumors than before. This post should clarify the reasons for the enforcement change. On a personal level I don't believe the rumors that have circulated -- though it's my job to look into things -- and on a professional level this is not only a policy reminder, it is a policy enforcement statement.
