i went through a drive thru yesterday and the lady gave me a drink and the hand-off was fumbled by my passenger (my boss)....needless to say it spilled (all 42oz) on the shifter to my acura tl (and no it didnt cost 78K)......well it shorted the selenoid to the automatic drive for the transmission and had to drive from Atlanta to Birmingham in 3rd and sometimes 4th gear(out of 5) of the (fun manual option) and the damn thing would down shift to 2nd gear out the damn blue......hell of a day.....had scheduled an appointment for the repair (300-500$ for the repair) but i woke up this mornign with a sore throat and 100 fever so now i am home....
