Uh... Even with him in the game we didn't score. The QB change should have happened when there was still a long shot chance for a spark.

Not sure how anybody can be happy with what we saw on offense today

scoring points is hard for laviano without carroo because he throws poorly. against a good secondary, he sucks. Don't think that's the case with rettig.

Our kids may have played the whole game but our loser fans didn't! OSU fans put us to shame. What an embarrasment the fans were.

"OSU could have done this to a lot of teams, but tonight it was RU."

You guys just caught the Buckeyes at the wrong time of the year. They're obviously starting to put it together again which is a trademark for Urban teams - get better and better as the year goes along.

So you're saying that the offense next season will spectacular? Can't wait!

I never said that. Next year the QB could be even Dare or Russo. This year the better passer in Rettig. Laviano has better command in the pocket but if you can't throw, what difference does it make...

Yes, the kids played hard, no question. But the fact of the matter is that if you want fans to be excited and into a game you need to put a competitive product out on the field. That's simply the nature of the beast.

If RU had tOSU's talent and coaching staff and the Bucks had ours, and we did to them what they did to us tonight, there's no doubt the atmosphere at HPSS during this game would have been completely different. -Seeing your team having its head handed to it, though, has a strange way of deflating a crowd's interest and enthusiasm.

All anyone has to do is look at RU vs. L'ville in 2006, or RU vs. USF a year later, to know that a Rutgers crowd can bring it. -But like all fanbases, it has to be given something to bring it for.

My post was 110% sarcastic.

Well, Urban finally wised up to start JT. He is the real deal, and the offense looks much better with him.

OSU is in a league of their own again this year. One thing about our offense, if Carroo is not in the game scoring points is pretty hard.

Well based on this I could be ashamed of our recruiting since flood came on if you are saying how dependent we are on 1 person who won't even be here next year.

Sorry, but anyone can support a winner, no real effort there. It's the fans that support the team and encourage winning that are true fans! Others are just observers. Just a difference of opinion,

Damned straight there's a difference of opinion, and I don't buy yours for a second. -But you have every right to yours, just as I have to mine.

Quentin Gause had 15 tackles. Of course that usually means guys up front weren't doing much
