first thing, lee is not afraid to take the sack and stay in the pocket. carroll never seemed like he trusted his offensive line and rolled out nearly every passing play. also has a tendency to overthrow it. i assume he is under the mentality 'make the pass only catchable for either your receiver or no one'. i would rather overthrow it any day than short arming it. he obviously seems to love the short pass. my favorite thing about him is after looking at 1, 2, and 3 receivers goes back and looks to receiver #1 if time permits. does not force something to happen which in turn results in picks. carroll's inability to do this , and stay in the pocket bothered me most about him. its like watching a high school offense when he is out on the field. he never looks off his first receiver. he's not afraid to actually tuck it and run. DOES NOT ROLL OUT LIKE EVERY PASSING PLAY LIKE OUR PREVIOUS (AT LEAST) 3 QUARTERBACKS i'm not on the field but it just seems like the guy is overall smarter in terms of quick decision making. this game was somewhat of a game due to t. lee being behind center. i'm a lot more optimistic about our chances of winning another game, two or even 3. with wes carroll at qb, we probably go 1-11. it sucks we lost but you have gotta admit there is a lot of positives we can take from this loss. from today's performance i think we can still play with 6 of the 7 teams that are left on our schedule (this may be due more to how bad some of those teams are). edited because i'm and dubass.
