I'll tell you what it is. There is a very passive aggressive elitest attitude of a lot of Notre Dame fans. Pretty much, they could completely suck, but they still believe they're better than everyone else

So last Saturday I'm at a party with some of the wife's work friends. Turns out the host is a ND fan, and a few attendees went there. So they were glued to the set for every second of Notre Dame struggling to put away Navy (forcing fans of legit top 10 teams to constantly check their phone to check up on them struggling to put away Arkansas). And occasionally mentioning how the SEC is over-rated every year. And how loyal and awesome Notre Dame fans are. Anyway, I hope they're watching this game Clockwork Orange-style.
