Will he or won’t he be able to play in the Australian Open?

Maybe because I have never been but my image of Australians has certainly changed. Gone are the days of Crocodile Dundee and the Crocodile Hunter (RIP).
I had a training class in Singapore and there were a few Australians in it and they were wild as hell. Funny and gave zero effs. Now they are a totalitarian state.

There are people in America that want the same here.

People are scared to death but if you sit and watched the news all day you would be too

Should be noted that he is covid recovered.

There’s actually a provision to not be vaxxed and still be allowed to play if they’ve had it in the last 6 months. Joker had it in 2020.

If he loses the appeal it will make the mens draw pretty wide open. He’s so dominant there it’s often been a foregone conclusion.

Djokovic has been deported, or is in the process of.

Looking at the careers of Fed/Nadal/Djokovic

Fed had a record 23 straight Grand Slam Semis, not only that, he had a run of 10 finals in a row, then semis in Australia in 2008, then 8 more Finals.

Nadal's longest streak? 7
Djokovic's longest streak? 14

Lol.

America has had 850,000 people die from COVID-19.
Australia has had 2000.
25 times more deaths per Capita.

But the dumbest Kentuckians have strong negative opinions about how the country on the other side of the planet handles a professional tennis player visa status.

The worst thing we ever did was tell everyone they are entitled to their own opinion.

I guess you’re good with what the Australian gov’t is doing to their own people huh?

It didn’t need to be this dramatic, the Australian authorities did this on purpose to make an international example out of an evil “anti vaxer”. This is nothing more than more political theatre.

Clown opinion. Over half of the recorded covid infections in Australia have occurred in the last 2 weeks.

Keeping this covid recovered tennis player out of the country does absolutely nothing.

I will say the death toll numbers are very interesting to me. Covid has been in Australia and spread through their population like every where else. The measures they’ve used to combat it have also been employed elsewhere with dramatically different results. Makes me wonder if the reporting is done to the same standard?

I’m also not necessarily saying the Aussies are lying or doing it wrong. Maybe they’re the only ones doing it correctly? See NY’s brand new amazing and genius standard of now reporting if someone dies WITH covid or BECAUSE of covid. A distinction any moron would have thought of in the first hour of a pandemic.

Totalitarian, much? Like the "just do what you're told" thing, eh? Your Leftist forefathers of the 60s would be ashamed of your attitude- for all their faults, most of them (excluding the outright Communists) at least had an appropriate attitude when it came to questioning authority and a respect for freedom. Your attitude shames them. As for Australia, the level of human right violations in that country effectively means that they should no longer be considered a Western ally or a free society. Their relatively good results as to the virus has more to do with island status with an easy ability to restrict entry than their draconian, misguided, and EVIL lockdowns.

You don't think we are entitled to our own opinions? Here's my opinion- you can take your Brave New World, including your pandemic, and you can perform a vulgar act with it.

Fairly certain that what happens in a democracy somewhere else directly relates to us. We have multiple treaties with them and a common heritage. It matters, a lot.

Maybe some Kentuckians are too dumb to know this.

I was supposed to go to Australia for work........I was looking forward to it, too, but I don't want to get locked up over something so petty.
