Skyler WIndmiller

Still no Division I offer, but we just put a real good highlight video up on him. He does have two D2 offers so far with visit invites to another D2 and a D1-AA upcoming. He is on the short (top 2-3) list at a few other D1-AAs and still on
the top 5 list at a couple D1s that haven't got their guy yet according to Skylers father. Hopefully, his video will make some decisions for people.

Skyler is the real deal. I hope he gets a chance to play D1 football.

That he is a legit threat and a leader out there on the court. I hope he channels a run similar to what Da'Sean Butler did in 2010. We all know he has had the talent and the injuries have put a hamper on his play, but now is the time to make a name for yourself, especially against an undefeated Kentucky team. Deep down, I believe he has the ability to leas this team to victory. Lets hope this is true.

Paint................you know for a fact that Staten cannot shoot from the foul line. His % completion bears this out. He's a threat out there. That much I concede. But Gary Browne and Devin Williams are the players getting the job done these days.

Exactly...he's done his part all season....

Beating Kentucky means everyone else has to do their part.

........Yep, Staten's not the greatest shooter in the game, by there's more to the game than shooting.

I am just guessing here...

But I think the OP was referring to Staten's poor game last night and the opportunity Thursday to shine in the national spotlight.

10.5 pts and 6.5 asts 2.5 reb, 1 steal per game in the tourney thus far.

his season averages are 14.2, 4.8, and 2.8. Seems to me that he's been as valuable the last couple of games as he has all year. Had he not blown a couple layups in the last game the stats would look much better. He's had a couple more turnovers than you expect from him, but I think the time off has made him a little rusty.

I get what you're saying tho, DWill and some others have stepped up their game, if Staten could Thursday, we become an even tougher matchup for UK. Kentucky could be a chance for him to really go out a legend at WVU.

I'm already looking forward to our matchup against Notre Dame for a chance to get to the Final Four against either Wisconsin or NC.
