all over the state. Let sleeping dogs lie and seize the momentum now that we have retaken the trophy. Do not rub it in publicly, but use it to even the recruiting edge UM had gained. Do not become complacent. Learn from prior mistakes. Build on the momentum. Win with class.

I say throw one up on every corner and tell'm to suck it.
Maybe do a Christmas one about bells ringing and Nickoe's balls in Bo's face.
Really, who gives a flying 17 if UM doesn't like it. Sleeping dogs lie? Damn. Just damn.

I'd guess that most MSU fans don't like it. I remember when I was at State they went around and asked the students if they liked "Our State" and it was heavy on the no side. I hate having to try and defend how stupid the marketing is to not only Ole Miss fans but really anyone who isn't a fan of MSU.

Let the players do the talking.

Why would we not claim this is "Our State?" Egg bowl trophy winners and baseball national championship runner up. The only state Ole Miss might can claim as their state is Texas.

Are you one of those guys that actually believes OM fans will ever think we have class?

No matter what we do. No matter what we say. No matter how we say it. We will forever be classless, dirt farming, rednecks who somehow very often grew up in the same cities and neighborhoods as OM fans. Since that is true, we should promote however we want and let the data coming back to the AD about our efforts lead to future efforts in marketing. If you don't think that poking our fingers in their eyes publicly has been overall good marketing, then you probably haven't noticed the changes to our stadium and other sports facilities (of course winning has been the primary cause but our marketing has helped a lot as well).

Keep it up

We have had to put up with their crap for over 100 years. I say pour it to them and do more than we did last time. It pisses them off to no end. If we keep it up we can get in their head just like Mullen got in Nutt's head. They will get so mad they will not be able to see straight. If we back down just because they don't like it they win.

As for the students, they are young and have not been out in the working world with those pricks. Ask a graduate after being out of school for about five years that has had to work with some of their delusional fans and see what their feeling is then. I think they will say keep it up.

Eff that. We did win with class. And we should put up a billboard in every corner of the state. We should put up 50 in oxford. Your attitude is why they treat us the way they do now. We need to rub it in every chance we get. And when we win next year, we should rub it in aGAIN.

When they get put on probation down the road, we should put up billboards about that too. **** em.

Yep. Put em up. I rode with a car full of OM fans to the game and we came up on a billboard and they all groaned. 17 em. We won

How'd that recruiting edge work out for them last Thursday? I saw a 3 star CB in Taveze Calhoun that only had an offer from us and Jackson State and another 3 star player in Kendrick Market outplay and put forth more effort than any of the 4 or 5 star players they had on the field. How many times did their heralded recruit beat 2 star Blaine Causell? Put up billboards. Who cares what they think? No gesture of kindness or sportsmanship is going to change their opinion of us. 17 em.

The "This is Our State" was actually a marketing coup but it should have stopped there. Also, if it's going to be done, the them needs to change from one sports season to the next. For example, just north of Slidell LA on the interstate, there's an Our State sign featuring baseball at present.

Wow. Surely you can't be serious. Let's not publicize our program. That's a real good idea.**

Let a sleeping dog lie????

We need to wake that dog, kick it in the nuts, and then taze it into submission.

Epic fail....the This is Our State is brilliant.
